NEET UG Counselling: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEETUG) counselling process will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in online mode. NEET UG counselling is expected to have around four to five rounds, with additional rounds likely to be added depending on the availability of vacant seats.

NEET UG counselling is divided into two categories: 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85 per cent State Quota seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conduct the counselling for AIQ seats, while respective state counselling authorities conduct the NEET state quota counselling process.

Under counseling of MCC AIQ seats, MBBS and BDS colleges of Central Universities like - Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, Employees' State Insurance Corporation and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune are comes.

NEET UG Counselling Process for All India Quota Seats:

I) 15% MBBS and BDS Seats of States (participation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is subject to their contribution of  MBBS and BDS seats),

II) 100% MBBS and BDS Seats of BHU

III) 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India

IV)  100% JIPMER seats (Puducherry and Karaikal)

V) 100% Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) seats, 15% seats of University of Delhi, 15% seats of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (VMMC, ABVIMS, ESIC Dental), 100% seats of Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) along with 5% internal Quota of Jamia students 15% IP quota seats of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). 

Documents required for NEET counselling:

+ NEET UG Admit Card

+ NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter

+ Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)

+ Class 12 certificate and mark sheet

+ ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)

+ Eight passport size photographs

+ Provisional Allotment Letter

+ Caste Certificate (if applicable)

+ PwD Certificate (if applicable)

NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities must submit the following documents

+ Passport copy of sponsored, embassy certificate

+ Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of study)

+ Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

NEET Counselling Step-by-Step Process:

Step 1: NEET counselling registration

Qualified and eligible candidates need to register at mcc.nic.in. Applicants must fill out their NEET roll number, registration number, name, mother's name, and date of birth. Next, pay the NEET counselling fee and security fee online with a credit card or debit card.

Step 2: Filling in Choices for NEET Counselling

Applicants must make a dummy sheet and enter their dream college choices. They can use the NEET college predictor if they want to know their chance of getting into college based on past data. For the NEET counselling process, they will be able to choose from this list of choices.

How to Do Choice Filling in NEET Counselling?

To fill choices in NEET Counselling, follow these steps:

+ Log in to the counselling website using the registration credentials.

+ Go to the choice filling section.

+ Browse through the list of available colleges and courses.

+ Select and priorities your preferred choices.

+ Save and lock the choices before the scheduled date and time.

+ Take a printout of the filled choices for future reference.

Step 3: NEET  Seat Allotment

Candidates must log in and download their seat allotment letters as soon as they are released. A free exit is available in the first round, while a forfeiture exit is available in the second round.
