Indian Institute of Management Ranchi

In collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and the Government of Jharkhand, the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi was founded in 2009 under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. According to NIRF 2024, the Management Institute has secured the 17th position in the ranking. IIM Ranchi offers a Master's degree in Management as per the approval of the Indian Institutes of Management Bill, 2017.

Students are awarded degrees in a two-year full-time residential program, MBA, MBA-HRM, MBA-BA, and Executive MBA in blended mode for working professionals. IIM Ranchi also offers the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Fellowship Program and the Part-Time Executive Program (PGEXP).

IIM Ranchi is one of the five IIMs to offer a five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). IIM Ranchi's Integrated Program in Management is a full-time 5-year integrated postgraduate program. Students are awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the 5-year program.

IIM Ranchi is renowned for its prestigious MBA and IPM programs, with admissions done based on the CAT Exam and IPMAT scores. The cut-off percentile for IIM Ranchi stands at an impressive 92nd percentile overall. The MBA fees at IIM Ranchi amount to INR 17.5 lakhs, while the average package for the 2023 batch reached INR 17.3 LPA. Additionally, the highest package offered at IIM Ranchi for the same batch reached an impressive INR 67 LPA.
