Indian Institute of Management Kashipur (IIM Kashipur) was established in 2011 under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow. IIM Kashipur is one of the top MBA colleges in India. It is one of the 13 newer Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. IIM Kashipur is located in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, and it ranked 23rd among 50 eminent B-schools of India by NIRF Rankings in 2024.

IIM Kashipur has established cooperative relationships with Ecole de Management de Normandie (EM Normandie), Caen, Le Havre, Deauville, France, as well as Ecole Supérieure pour le Développement Economique et Sociale (ESDES) School of Business and Management, Lyon, France, to further develop academic and cultural exchanges between the institutions through mutual assistance in the areas of education and research. The program includes short-term exchange of students, exchange of faculty, and development of joint research activities.

The institute offers four different management courses at the PG and PhD levels. It also offers the Management Development Program (MDP), an executive education, aimed at enhancing competencies among managers and executives working at various levels.

Programs: IIM Kashipur offers various programs in Management Education. MBA and MBA (Analytics) are full-time, two-year residential flagship programs of the Institute. The management education program consists of a two-year full-time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), a one-year full-time Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (EPGPM), and a Fellow Program in Management (FPM) for doctoral studies.

Renowned companies from various sectors like IT, Banking, Consumer durables, Consulting, etc, visited the campus for recruitment. The MBA placements 2023 were 100%. Furthermore, the highest international and domestic packages offered during IIM Kashipur stood at USD 39,240 per annum and INR 37 LPA, respectively. Moreover, the average package offered during Placement 2023 was 18.1 LPA, respectively.
