Founded in 2015, Birla Global University is a private state university situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was formed and established under the Birla Global University Act, 2015. Affiliated by the UGC (Union Grants Commission), Birla Global University boasts a dynamic campus culture, fostering creativity, global collaborations and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Ranked amongst the top 50 colleges of Law, Birla Global University has secured 49th position in the field of law. This private university has approval from the BCI (Bar Council of India) for Law programs.

The Birla Global University offers academic courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. These academic programs are divided into 7 schools.

The flagship course here is MBA, across all specialisations. The admissions here are based on entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT and the Birla Global University Entrance Test (BET). Thereafter, essay writing and an interview are conducted. The eligibility for undergraduate courses is 10+2 passed with an aggregate of 50%. The eligibility for postgraduate courses is a graduation with an aggregate of 50%. Some courses might require a clear interview round, too.

The Birla Global University has a great education curriculum and robust placement programs. These programs prepare students for the corporate world and further success. Birla Global University: Placements

Birla Global University (BGU) offers placements with an average MBA CTC of ₹7.2 lakh per year for the 2022-24 batch and the highest package of ₹16.22 lakh per year in 2023. Top recruiters include Accenture, Deloitte, EY, and HDFC Bank. The university also emphasises pre-placement activities, summer internships, and industry projects through its Corporate Relations Centre.

This private university is a self-financed university. There is the Eco Green Club, too, that raises awareness among students for environmental issues.
